NETPLEX is the
fastest path to the Internet from Connecticut because our network
inftrasturcture is based upon OC3 fiber ATM network with 155 Mbps
of speed and bandwidth available at all times. Another reason
why we are better than most, is because of our
excellent network redundancy. We actually
have 4 independent Tier 1 connections to the backbone, which means
that if one should fail, the others would pick up the slack and
you, the customer, would never notice the loss. In addition, our
downtown location is backed by UPS as well as generators in the
event of a power loss.
Our office location also has excellent redundancy
with multiple OC3’s going to the Hartford and West Hartford
Telco central offices as well as T1’s and T3’s. Our
office is also backed up with UPS power backup as well as generators.
